Preparation, Characterization and Properties of a Novel Electrospun Polyamide-6/ Chitosan/Graphene Oxide Composite Nanofiber

Chitosan (CS) is a natural biopolymer that due to its excellent properties such as biocompatibility and biodegradability suitable for use in many applications. But, dependent on the molecular weight other electrospinning capability of CS very weak. To solve this problem, it recommended blend with second polymer. In work, CS/polyamide-6 (PA6) composite nanofibers were fabricated by technique. Then different percentages graphene oxide (GO) i.e. 0.1, 0.25, 0.5 wt% used improve mechanical thermal nanofibers. The characterization results showed uniform formed PA6/CS nanocomposites blend, addition GO lead formation spider-web-like morphology decreasing diameter. Further, can Young's modulus degradation resistance mat. Finally, potential prepared was investigated adsorption ions (Pb2+) batch system. Kinetic studies revealed Pb2+ ion onto PA6/CS/GO mat followed pseudo-first-order kinetic, gave maximum capacity 217.39 mg g−1.
